COMMERCIAL USE LICENSE POLICY
(Version 2.0 • June 2025)
1 · Definitions
Track – audio master (MP3 320 kbps by default; WAV if purchased).
Registered Entity – the single person, company, or organization named on the invoice and in MVP’s license registry.
Project – one end-product or campaign into which the Track is embedded.
Commercial Use – any public, revenue-generating, or creative deployment of the Track.
2 · Grant of Rights
Upon full payment & registration, MVP grants the Registered Entity a world-wide, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, perpetual sync license to:
Synchronize the Track with one Project (film, video, podcast, game, software, advertisement, livestream, stage show, etc.).
Edit & adapt the Track (trim, loop, EQ, pitch/tempo change) inside that Project.
Publicly perform, display, stream, broadcast, or distribute the Project on all current & future media.
Monetize the Project via ads, paywalls, subscriptions, ticket sales, sponsorships, or merchandising.
3 · Attribution
Credit is required unless an Attribution Waiver fee is paid:

4 · Restrictions & Special Rules

Entity-Bound | One license = one Registered Entity. A second business/org/person needs its own license. |
Multi-Campaign | Same Entity may reuse the Track across multiple campaigns/ads within the same brand. |
Remixes & DJ Sets | Permitted only for live performance or inside the Project; may not be sold/streamed as a stand-alone track. |
Clip Length | Up to 15 seconds may be looped as a recurring jingle/theme. |
NFT / Blockchain | Prohibited. |
Stand-Alone Release | You may not upload the Track (original or altered) to DSPs (Spotify, DistroKid, etc.) or claim royalties. |
Trademark | No registering melodies/hooks as your own TM or sound mark. |
Harmful Content | No use in defamatory, hateful, or illegal material. |
5 · Verification & Audit
License keys are stored in the MVP registry and can be validated at https://mycoverseproductions.com/checkpoint. MVP reserves the right to audit usage once per year with 10 days’ notice.
6 · Anti-Piracy & Liquidated Damages
Unlicensed or counterfeit commercial use incurs:
$7,500 USD per infraction, plus takedown costs and statutory damages.
Willful infringement (17 U.S.C. §504(c)(2)) pursued to the maximum ($150k USD per work).
Informants providing verifiable evidence of infringement may receive bounty rewards at MVP’s discretion.
7 · Ownership
All copyrights and neighboring rights remain with The Mushroom Network, LLC & Alexander B. Levin. You obtain only the limited rights set forth here.
8 · Termination / Revocation
Breach of §§3–4 empowers MVP to revoke the license. The Track must be removed from the Project within 15 days or further penalties apply.
9 · Governing Law
Florida law & U.S. federal copyright law; disputes resolved in Suwannee County or the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Payment or first public use equals full acceptance.
